Rev. Sam P. Chelladurai, the senior pastor of AFT Church, is one of the most respected and influential word-preachers in India. He is a Bible teacher with a heart to touch the lives of people by expounding upon the life-transforming power of God's word. After spending about 10 years in the United States of America, studying and later pastoring a church in North Carolina, Pastor Sam felt led by God to come back to India and continue his ministry. In 1985, he took over the leadership of Apostolic Fellowship Tabernacle in Chennai, which today is one of the fastest growing churches in India.

Christ Church Guwahati, the quaint little church in the midst of bustling Nehru Park and Cotton College has been in benign existence since 1844. The beginning of this church goes back to the arrival of the first chaplain in Assam, Revd. Robert Bland. Although a little obscured due to Nehru Park surrounding it, this Church has been present through the growth of Guwahati city for the last 168 years!

More than 2 million devotees visit the temple annually to seek the blessings of SRI SAMPATH VINAYAGAR. Many devotees experience miracles after praying at this temple and no wonder this temple. Though the pujas are conducted during specified hours, you can visit the temple any time to have the ‘darshan’ and seek SRI SAMPATH VINAGAYAR blessings. How To Reach: The temple is located within a walking distance from the RTC COMPLEX and just a couple of kilometers from the Railway Station.
