The Department of Life Science at Garden City College was established with an emphasis on interdisciplinary teaching and quality research in modern biology. ABOUT ‘BIORUJIVITH 2013’
Biorujivith 2013 seeks to provide a discussion forum for scientists, educators and students about the views and facts concerning the recent innovations, trends, challenges and up-to-the-minute ideas in interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research encompassing all disciplines of biological sciences. The seminar is designed to bring together all of the major players in the evolving areas of biological research.
The aim of the seminar is to offer high-level lectures, extensive discussions and communications covering the state of the art on all biological fields providing an overview on their potential applications in the scientific fields. Biorujivith 2013 is meant to create a necessary platform for an ongoing dialogue between researchers from different areas of life science. The seminar also provides a great occasion to set-up and establishes contacts with colleagues involved in the research areas of biology.
The scientific program paves a way to gather creative thinkers through the research talks and presentations and put forward many challenging strategies. The program also offers a balance of scientific sessions covering the latest research and strategic presentations and brainstorming sessions for the decision makers.
THEME OF BIORUJIVITH 2013
About 8 eminent speakers from all over India would deliver invited lectures in 4 sessions besides poster presentations and oral presentations by contributor authors. Participation is open to all involved in the research, teaching, industry, etc. from all over India. Prospective participants are invited to contribute papers to be presented on the following themes:

Pharmaceutical and Medical Biotechnology

CALL FOR PAPERS
Abstracts for oral and poster presentation in the technical sessions of the conference are invited from researchers, scientists, academicians, consultants and students on the above mentioned themes. Interested participants may send the abstracts of their research articles by 14-09-2013.
GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
The abstract should be a maximum of 300 words.
Fonts should be Times New Roman.
Font size should be 12.
Double spacing throughout.
The abstract should include Title of the paper, author’s name, designation, institutional affiliation, postal address, telephone number and e-mail id.
Softcopy of the abstract should be send as e-mail to biorujivith2013@gardencitycollege.edu.
Accepted abstracts will be presented in the conference either as poster or paper and selected papers will be asked to submit the full manuscript of the same that will be considered for publication in our journal ‘Life Science Edge’.
AWARDS
A number of best paper and best poster and best presentation awards along with appreciation certificates will be conferred at the Biorujivith 2013.

Faculties / Scientists : Rs. 1000/-
Students / Research Scholars : Rs. 500/-
Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of Garden City Education Trust, payable at Bangalore.
Registration fee include lunch, tea and conference kit.
ACCOMODATION
Accommodation will be arranged on payment basis on request for outstation delegates by the organisers. Those requiring accommodations are requested to send the relevant information to the organising committee.

• There will be no spot registration.
• Participants need to send the filled up registration form along with the demand draft for registration on or before the due date.
• LCD facility will be provided for paper presentation.
• Only those who are present in the conference will be given certificates.
