It gives me pleasure to show you all a glimpse of the history and development of this institution. It was with the initiative of Lala Tola Ram that this school was founded in 1910 at primary level in Leiah (now in West Pakistan) with a great aim to provide a ladder of education for youngsters of that backward area. There after a team of young and very enthusiastic and dedicated Workers like Lala Karam Chand and others who came to the forefront with a missionary zeal for the upliftment of the school and all-sided betterment of the people of the area. The school was upgraded with their efforts up to Matriculation level from where the first batch passed out in 1919. It was with the most sincere and dedicated the services of Lala Leela Ram Ji who succeeded in getting a piece of land for the school building with the help of D.C. of the area. Seth Inder Bhan Dhingra who was a very kind-hearted and generous person contributed one Lac rupees for the building.After the partition of India in 1947 a big number of Leiahists Settled in Panipat. It was with the initiative of Lala Himmat Rai Nagpal, Lala Ram Kishan Gandhir and Seth Brij Lal Dhingra who took the lead to reestablish the school. They did so with the co-operation of an untiring and pains taking team including Lala Anshi Ram Miglani, Dr.Vasudev Sh. Habans Lal Rehani. They set up the school in 1952 in rented sheds, which was later shifted to the present premises in 1954. Since then under the rich guidance and experience of dedicated generals and laborious teachers, the school took better, higher and wider strides in every field of education, including: academic, cultural and social fields.In 1959, Bhim Sain Nanda brought a great name & fame to the school by standing first in united Punjab. It was a moment of pride for Leiah Biradari. In 1964, Subhash Batra took 5th position in Punjab. In 1967, Joginder Khanna got first position now he is working as a Chief-Vigilence Officer. In 1972, Krishan Lal got 5th position in Haryana, Dharamvir Dhingra, Bhim Sain Setia got the merits. In 1979, under the leadership of Sh. S.D.Chaudhary, Principal, was honoured with National Award. Almost every year meritorious result was the routine of the school. At that time Lala Shanu Lal Narang was Manager who worked with a great zeal. He was an untiring general who worked day and night, there after with practical approach in every field with the help of Lala Ram Kishan Gandhir the school started new streams of education to meet the innovative needs of the society. Diversification of courses was allowed to students in Science, Commerce and Arts. Even today we are providing the best education to the students including Computers and other aspects of Information Technology. Our co-operative, dynamic & hard working Principals & Headmasters who led the school [since its establishment in Panipat in 1952] are as follows :

Presently the school and its activities are progressing dynamically under the Principalship of Sh. Girish Manav and he is doing his best for all sided betterment of students and upliftment of school in areas of result, discipline, cultural programmers, sport activities and academics. The school has shown very good contribution to society. Thousands of our students have been occupying top responsible posts at centre and in states.Since 1986, Sh.K.C. Nagpal had been managing the school with experience, knowledge and administrative skill. He has very successfully led the school to still greater horizons. His dedicated spirit and co-operation of lala Ram Kishan Gandhir (V.P.) has led the school to all- sided progress.
