Looking back:
“Vikruti evam prakruthi”(what seems unnatural is also natural), the beautiful verse from Rig Veda, in queer sense describes Srishti in a single line.
Srishti was established on 11th September 2011 in Madurai as The first Genderqueer & LGBTQIA student volunteer group designed to target specifically to the problems of queer people in non-metro cities of Tamilnadu. Rather than creating awareness Srishti started to educate both community and the public about Gender Politics and issues regarding Gender & Sexuality.
Later in 2012 Srishti completely turned as a student volunteer Genderqueer & LGBTQIA Literature, Research & Resource circle a part of Srishti Madurai International Centre for Advanced Philosophy to build the human resources, resources on Genderqueer & LGBTQIA in Regional Language with theoretical base in pan cultural context of India. Also such an initiative is of first of its kind in any LGBTQIA group in India. Our Science, Arts, Philosophy club further aims to approach the alternate sexualities and Genders from a scientific, sociological, anthropological, psycho analytical, religious, philosophical and political perspective and impart people with the scientific knowledge of queer community.
Philosophy & Motto:

· To create an intellectual debate among student society based on Gender & Sexuality.
· To create a student based gender politics & interconnecting every aspect of life with Gender, Sexuality, Philosophy and Science.
· To redefine the definitions of society
· To reach the public space of the society.
· Educating ourselves is educating others.
Policy:
· Srishti is a Student Volunteer Group (SVG).
· Srishti is not an Organization.
· Srishti is not a Non-Governmental Organization (or) Community based Organization.
· Srishti do not accept corporate sponsors.
· People who wish to contribute Srishti need to abide with the rules given by the Srishti Team approved by its advisory board.
· Srishti will be monitored under its advisory board which only provides moral support.
· All events of Srishti or collaborated with Srishti is organised by individual volunteer ship.
· All financial details about the expenditure and income will be provided only to the volunteers who served, serving Srishti for more than 2 years of time.

ஸ்ருஷ்டி என்பது பல்வகை பாலின அடையாளங்களையும், பாலியல் நாட்டங்களையும் கொண்டோருக்காக கோயம்புத்தூரிலும், மதுரையிலும் இயங்கும் மாற்று பாலினத்தவருக்கான தமிழகத்தின் முதல் இலக்கியம் மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி வட்டமாகும்.இதன் தனித்துவம் என்னவெனில், இது முழுக்க முழுக்க மாணவர்களால் நடத்தப்படும் அமைப்பு சாரா, நிறுவனம் சாரா வட்டமாகும். "பாலினம் மற்றும் பாலியல் சார்ந்த பிரச்சினைகளை, சமூக பார்வையோடு அணுகி, அனைவருக்கும் இது குறித்த விழிப்புணர்வினை உருவாக்குவதே ஸ்ருஷ்டி-யின் நோக்கமாகும்".ஸ்ருஷ்டி செப்டம்பர் 2 2011 மதுரையில் துவக்கப்பட்டது, மதுரை மற்றும் அதை சுற்றி உள்ள கிராமங்களை சேர்ந்த பள்ளி மற்றும் கல்லூரி மாணவ - இளைங்கர்களுக்கு பாலினம் தொடர்பான வகுப்புகளை மிகுந்த போராட்டத்துடன் நடத்தி வருகிறது, 2012 ஜூலை 29 மதுரையின் முதல் வானவில் திருவிழா அலன் டூரிங் நினைவாக துரிங் வானவில் திருவிழா மற்றும் ஆசியாவின் முதல் பால் புதுமையினர் விழா என்று கொண்டாடப்பட்டது, ஆண், பெண் தவிர்த்து இருபதுக்கும் மேற்பட்ட பாலினங்களுக்கு தமிழில் பெயர் சூட்டியது இந்த அமைப்பு. இவர்கள் மாணவர்கள் மத்தியிலும் பொதுமக்கள் மத்தியிலும் பல்வேறு விழிப்புணர்வு நடவடிக்கைகளில் ஈடுபட்டுள்ளார்கள்.
ஸ்ருஷ்டி மதுரை பால்புதுமையர்ருக்காக ( Genderqueer ) அலைபேசி சேவையை வழங்குகிறது.
