Lakshmi Narasimha Temple, Bhadravathi

Lakshmi Narasimha Temple built by the Hoysalas in the 13th century is located in Bhadravathi, a town in the South Indian state of Karnataka. This beautiful Hoysala architecture temple is maintained by the Archaeological Department of Karnataka state. This temple is dedicated to Lord Narasimha (incarnation of Lord Vishnu). It was built by Veera Narasimha, the grandson of Vishnuvardhana. It has murthis of Lord Srikrishna, Lord Purushottama, Lord Ganesha, Goddess Sharadamba along with Lord Narasimha. It is built on a Nakshtra style platform.
