Visakhapatnam Airport is a customs airport serving the Visakhapatnam District of Andhra Pradesh, India. It is located approximately 12 km (7.5 mi) from Visakhapatnam and is the second busiest airport in Andhra Pradesh after Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad. It is controlled by the Indian Navy, which carries out air traffic control support for both military and civil traffic. The airport has experienced mass growth in the last decade, with the construction of a new terminal and runway, and the implementation of international routes to Dubai and Singapore. The Airport is a non-towered airport, but has an air traffic control system in presence. Controllers are ground-based and direct aircraft movements via radio and other communication links. Subbarami Reddy, the then Union Minister announced that the Airport was fully prepared for international flights. A new and extended runway was build to land the Airbus A320 aircraft operated by Air Deccan. There were appeals to make Vizag airport an International Airport ever since then. Immediately the next month, JetLite and Air Deccan started flights to Visakhapatnam. Union minister of state for HRD, D.Purandeswari announced that after discussions with the defence minister M.M.Pallam Raju and Airport Authority of India, a decision has been made, so as to begin international and intercontinental operations from Visakhapatnam Airport.

It started with me Rathan Krishna as founder of Unbreakable Knights Crew (UK Crew) on 31st October 2011. In the beginning sessions I used to teach some basic steps to the people who had a keen interest to know & learn about bboying. Later, I was in search of some new crew members, and I could make it up using social networking. Firstly, I found Chinmoy Das who was a Taekwondo player during his school days. Soon he learnt Bboying and now is the senior member of the crew. As days passed I found more members adding up in the crew namely – Uday Akash, Nikhil Saini, Rohan Gokavalasa, Bhaskar, Deepak Tamang, Anurag Kumar, Avinash Kumar, Siddhanth Bhatt, Laxman Kumar, Ashmita Ganguly, Aditi Ghosh , Suniana Panigrahy And Mukund Suntwal. After that we had a regular practice sessions at 104area, Ashoka Park, Nausenabagh, cypher’s at justi square, sea pearl, YMCA and many more. Cypher is an unplanned jam of bboys/bgirls/dancers, where we all dance and get some crowd to share our culture with those people. Practicing regularly among the common people made us perfect and we started performing at various places like ‘Naval Ship Testing Lab (NSTL)’, ‘The Change (Rock Charity Show)’, ‘7Up I Feel UP’ for which we bagged 2nd position in Visakhapatnam Region, Four Points By Sheraton, Navy Mela and performed as All Starz crew in different colleges. Devang Mahana who gave entry as a photographer for the crew and later stood up as a bboy of the crew. We got new photographers Gunjan and Bonica who came up with their interest for clicking pictures for our crew and updated the people through the social networking site--FACEBOOK. Bboying is a street culture and a wow factor too. Wow factors has its own style and attitude so c’mon step up with us, we are ready to teach you the real culture and technique. Peace!
