Bhavan's- from its inception...
The Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan is an offshoot of Indian Renaissance, with an international focus in tune with India's long cherished ideal of "Vasudhaika Kutumbum". The Bhavan is indeed India's premier comprehensive movement with its precept of "Let noble thoughts come to us from every side" for the cultural, moral and spiritual upliftment of Indians.
The Tirupati Kendra took shelter for its functioning in Annamacharya Kala Mandir of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, the benefactors of many charitable and social institutions.
Dr. K. Seshaiah, the then secretary, a person with zeal and enthusiasm and other Executive Committee members put in their efforts to get efficient and well noted persons from various fields enrolled as members of the kendra.
Starting with a strength of 125 Pupils from L K G to III Class in a rented building behind Thyagaraja Mandapam, the school has grown year by year with the present strength 2000, winning the favour of the educated public.
The Tirupati Kendra has been successfully organising lecture programmes on various topics like the Indian epics, vedas, traditional and cultural values, etc. The Astrologers Forum under the auspices of Bhavan's Tirupati Kendra has been attracting the young and the old to attend its Astrology Classes in the Kendra premises. The Kala Kendra of Bhavan with its inception in 1995 is another fascinating showpiece of aesthetic skills such as dancing, music, painting being offered to the budding trainees.
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, a charitable and cultural institution, utilises its funds towards various developmental activities.
