Education and knowledge is the most important asset of man, which make them a unique creation of the almighty. Keeping this vision in mind a group of farmers donated cash and were kind enough to lay the foundation of this PHinstitution in the form of a small college in 1957.
The college is a multifaculty institution comprising Science, Arts, Commerce and Law faculties. There is the provision of imparting Post Graduate education in various Science subjects viz. Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Maths and Computer Science. Besides, there is the facility of Research supervised by a very distinguished panel of teachers of the subject supported by a rich library and highly equipped laboratory.
It is indeed a matter of pride to the institution that umpteen number of students have so far achieved their Ph.D degree in various subjects of whom about thirty students belong to the department of Botany alone followed closely by Mathematics, Zoology and Chemistry.
