Rajiv Gandhi College of Computer Application and Technology, Satna is one of the premier institutes in the Vindhya region imparting quality education to computer and media aspirants. Established in 1996, the institute runs Computer and Journalism courses of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism & Communication, Bhopal. This is the pioneer institute in Vindhya region which offered BCA course of the University for the first time. The Reg. No. is 9060 & 2065. The college is self contained for all its requirements. Rajiv Gandhi College has a unique standing in the field of Computer and Journalism education. The college has a track record of producing rank-holders (All over India) every year. Set up in the year 1996, RGCCAT was envisioned as a centre for excellence in academia. This was in response to a dire need to improve upon the scenario, as also to revive the rather bleak situation of higher education in the state. The aim was to give a new dimension and meaning to the concept of learning. The focus of the Institute is on the integrated development of students, where moral and spiritual values are inculcated and nurtured through a rigorous time-bound action plan. Our data for the past fourteen years shows that the results are growing up and that we have maintained our standard.
