DAV Pehowa
Under the direct control of D.A.V. College Managing Committee, New Delhi, the biggest Private Educational Trust in the country, running more than 700 institutions in all, the college has more than 1300 students on its rolls today. Seeds of this blossoming and fruit bearing tree of today were shown in 1981 by a few noble enthusiasts with a view to liberate the energies of wisdom, devotion and skills latent in our boys and girls and to infuse them with vital ideals of humanity. Located on the bank of the holy river Saraswati, it is a multi-faculty co-education institution affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. The college now runs graduation classes in all the three faculties, namely Arts, Commerce and Science. The college has started B.Sc. Bio-Technology, B.Sc. Computer Science and Post-graduate course in Mathematics, during this academic session. During the current session, graduate students have been given the special privilege of having an additional degree in U.G.C. sponsored Add on Courses in Web Designing and Food Preservation and Quality Control.
