GNCYM is the youth body of St Joseph’s Church, Greater Noida. It was officially formed in July 2010. The youth is inspired by its tag line “You are the light of the world” (Mt 5:14). The objective of these inspired and motivated young minds is to bring the Christ’s Good News to the world. This, they execute by being active in church and other social responsibilities that they undertake from time to time. GNCYM engages in forming itself to be the light of the world. Catholic Church provides a very strong platform for her youth to realize its true potential by absorbing them in various church and social activities. It’s rightly said, “What one is accustomed to in youth, one does in old age.”By involving themselves in creative and constructive works in the prime of their youth, they (GNCYM) learn to be the torch bearers of Jesus Christ, their role model. To achieve this they are carefully guided and animated by priests, nuns and other elders of the parish as the Church believes that the youth is the pillar of the Church.
