Chandigarh Baptist School is founded as a Public School in Chandigarh 1986, it is a private institution run by North West India Baptist Association Sector44-C Chandigarh. Head of the North West India Baptist Association is Rev.Nazir Masih, who is also the director of Chandigarh Baptist School.
This school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), which is the largest educational board in the country and is duly recognised by the Deptartment of Education, Govt. of NCT Delhi and the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. Over 5000 schools in India, with over 80,000 students, are members of the Board.
