GEC Kozhikode
The Government Engineering College, Kozhikode (GECK) was started by the Government of Kerala, India, in August 1999. It is one among the prestigious engineering institutions under the Department of Technical Education, Kerala. GECK has been rated consistently among the top technical institutes in kerala, with students admitted purely on the basis of merit. The students belong to the top strata of candidates appearing for the entrance examination.
GECK graduates are employed in a wide range of public and private sector companies within India and abroad. Many of the alumni occupy top managerial and key technical position in top corporates across the globe.
The institution is located in WestHill. The institute has four major engineering departments: Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, and Applied Electronics and Instrumentation.
