Nature Environment & Wildlife Society ( NEWS) is one of the leading NGO's in Eastern India. Since 1991, NEWS is committed to protect and conserve wildlife, ecology & environment. NEWS is also committed to engage people in alternative and sustainable livelihood who are majorly dependent on threatened ecosystems and to enhance their participation in the conservation process. Our research, conservation and community development activities, conducted by the best hands in the field are well documented. Over the years, we have partnered many national and international organizations like IUCN, UNDP, World Bank, Public Affairs Department-Fedral Government of United States of America, British CouncilDivision-Kolkata,Honory British Deputy High Commission of Kolkata,Consulate of Federal Republic of Germany, RBS Foundation India, D.S.T-Government of India, Earthwatch Institute, MOEF - Govt of India, State Forest Department, and reputed corporate sectors like Danone-Paris and among others.
