Vira College of Engineering was established by Vira Charitable Society Dharamnagri, Bijnor, an educational Society which is devoted to the cause of spreading education in the area and established about a dozen Institutions from nursery level to post graduate level, both for boys and girls. Vira College of Engineering is a further step taken by the Society in the field of higher technology filled with the aim of preparing the youth of the State for the challenges of 21 st century. The Institute was established in the year 1999. It is duly approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India and Government of Uttar Pradesh, and is affiliated to U P Technical University, Lucknow. The College is situated in an ideal environment, away from the hustle & bustle and pollution of the City. The beautiful natural surroundings are laced with greenery all around, with tall trees in abundance providing pollution-free healthy environment.
