OUR HERITAGE The Baskin-Robbins story is one of love and experimentation. At an age where vanila and tradition ruled the roost. Burt Baskin and Irv Robbins along with their mutual love of ice creams set out to change it all! Their idea was to spread happiness with a world of flavors under the big 31 label in their parlours. These one of a kind parlors provided patrons with delectable flavors that would change the definition of ice cream today. This delicious journey that started oh-so-many years ago still continues, with over 1,000 flavors and industry benchmarks that are yet to be surpassed. Also, it is interesting to know that baskin-Robbins today is busy spreading happiness in more than 35 countries and 6,000 locations! This incredible journey of flavors also bought Baskin-Robbins to India in 1993, where the first parlor was opened to spread the flavor of happiness in India. Thereon, with each year both the number of parlors and flavors grew with leap and bounds to reach up to 450 parlors in nearly 100 cities of the country. Today Baskin-Robbins continues to make each neighborhood a tasty and fun place for customers. We make people happy!

If we want to preserve our god, our religion, identity, culture, & its precious wealth then we have to obtain religious education and protect our religion. And this is the prime responsibility of each & every individual. Therefore, we requested Param Pujya Jagatguru Ramanandacharya shri Swami Narendracharyaji Maharaj, Dakshin Peeth Nanijdham, and he agreed to disseminate religious knowledge as a part of religious education and in the form of this magazine “Dharmakshetra Nanijdham” We are publishing Param Pujya jagadgurushri’s thoughts through our magazine. Dharmakshetra Nanijdham is the brainchild of Gajanan Enterprises with a thought and idea to educate more and more number of people about Hindu Religion.

Founded on April 20, 1985, it was meant to be an effort to provide high quality education to students.

A pilot program in the summer of 2006 with five students showed good results, and the number of students in the program was increased in stages which is now over 100. Our purpose is to reach out to the IIT Kanpur Alumni Community of 28000+ Alumni Globally and link them with their alma mater and it's students. The initiative of this program has been very well received both by the alumni and the students. It has enabled many alumni to reconnect with their alma mater, many have contributed financially small and large sums, and some have associated with IITK in a professional manner as a result of this programme. The students, besides earning some money, find it as an excellent opportunity to improve communication skills and leadership qualities.

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (eDC), IIT Delhi is a cell which aims to support and augment the efforts of budding entrepreneurs in the college level to get established as a successful and independent entrepreneurs, by providing them with advice regarding financial support, organizing workshops which help to teach the young ‘College Entrepreneur’ become acquainted with the lingo of the Business world, learn and implement marketing strategies and learn about the different areas in which earlier budding entrepreneurs have been successful. Every year in Startup Showcase, students are made to experience how being a real entrepreneur feels like when one is made to present and defend proposals, pitch their ideas to Venture Capitalists, and also gain valuable advice from well-established lawyers and businessmen who are invited for the event. Entrepreneurship in college has a unique flavour since it is only here one gets access to a large cheap workforce, easily available mentors and lots of new floating ideas. The cell aims to train the young entrepreneur to observe these existent ideas and feed them with new ones via numerous competitions such as Vishisth B-Plan, Case Study competitions, Panel discussions and most importantly through Guest Lectures, where some of the most eminent entrepreneurs of the country have graced the event with their presence in the past few years and ignited young minds with some of their own accounts of their rise to fame in the entrepreneurship world. Bimonthly newsletters (Studentrepreneur) are released and circulated in order to make newcomers aware of the terms used in business, such as Pitching, Angel Investing, B-Plan etc. and also make the audience acquainted with some of the latest happenings in the entrepreneurship world.
