Seth Parsram Parumal, a Visionary philanthropist established SEVA SADAN, an educational family Trust in the year 1950 to provide educational facilities to Sindhi Migrants from Pakistan at the time of partition. The trust started New Era School in the year 1950 and constructed the first cement concrete building of Ulhasnagar in 1957. In the year 1961, the trust started Ulhasnagar Girls College, the first colleg in the entire Konkan region, which was renamed as R.K.Talreja College in the year 1967. Seva Sadan's College of education was started in the year 1964.
The trust's relentless service and determination to carry the visionof BABA as Seth Parsram Parumal was affectionately called by his friends and admirers, helped to place R.K.Talreja college to the premier place in the 21st century. It was the selfless spirit of BABA, which prompted him to name the college after Shri Ramchand Kimatrai Talreja who generously donated money to the institution.
