Sainik School Purulia is a residential English Medium Public School for boys imparting Public School Education with a Military bias in the state of West Bengal. It is one of the 22 Sainik Schools in the country established under the aegis of the Ministry of Defence for the benefit of the comparatively weaker sections of the society and for the removal of regional imbalances in the officers cadres of Defence services of India.
