Matu Ram Institute of Engineering & Management (MRIEM), Rohtak was established by the Jat Education Society (Regd.), Rohtak in the year of 2008 as a “Self Financing Institute” to impart technical education. The Institute is affiliated to the Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak and approved by the State Government and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The Institute is situated in the heart of city & located on the National Highway No. 10 i.e. Delhi-Rohtak Road. MRIEM is dedicated to the memory of Ch. Matu Ram Ji, one of the founding fathers as well as the Founder President of Jat Education Society (Regd.) Rohtak. He was one of the leading lights who were instrumental in bringing this Society and its first institution, Jat Anglo-Sanskrit High School, Rohtak into existence 100 years ago. His monumental efforts in the field of education and social service are still remembered with reverence by the people of the region.
