It is named after the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Late Shri. Vasantrao Naik. SVNGMC Yavatmal is in [Yavatmal] city which is a district place in the state of Maharashtra. It was established in 1989 and is recognized by MCI. After successful completion of the course, which consist of 54 months of active learning and 12 months of training (internship) students are awarded MBBS, MD, MS degrees (bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery) Infrastrure: 1. Land area: 5,13,969 square meters 2. Out Patient Department Complex with 12 well-equipped operation theaters 3. A 288 bedded Hospital Complex with 12 well-equipped operation theaters 4.
