St. Mary's School was established in 1981. It is administered by Roman Catholic Diocese of Varanasi, a registered charitable society. The religious congretion of the Queen of the Apostle is actively involved in its administration . The school is under the religious jurisdiction of the Catholic Bishop Of Varanasi.
The school aims at the education of the Catholic community around and extends its services to the members of other communities to the extent its services to the extent possible. The school is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations(CICSE), New Delhi (UP-119 dt. 01-03-2001) with no objection Certificate from the goverment of U.P. (No. 3678/15-17-88-63/86/87 dt. 01-10-1988). It prepares students for the ICSE (10) and ISC (10+2) course. ISC courrse eith Science (PCM & PCM streams) and Commerce . The Council's examination curriculum includes : English , Hindi, Sanskrit , History, Civics , Geography, Mathematics , Physics, Chemistry < Biology, Economics, Accountancy and Commerce. Hindi is taught from L.K.G. onwards.
