Bhopal Youth Conference 2013
Youth striving to contribute to the well-being of their communities have begun gathering in a series of conferences called for by the Universal House of Justice, the international governing body of the Bahá’í community.
Among the themes to be discussed at each conference are the unique characteristics that distinguish the period of youth, the great responsibility facing young people to contribute to the betterment of society, and the importance of fostering an environment of encouragement. Many expected to attend are already engaged in offering acts of service in their own neighborhoods and villages, including efforts to help those younger than themselves to channel their energies for the progress of their communities.
A total of 114 Youth Conferences are being held around the globe from July-October 2013.
Bhopal Youth Conference is one of the first in the series of 10 Youth conference to be held in India.
